Kavita brings over 28 years of diverse experience across leading IP law firms, diplomatic missions, United Nations agencies, international aid organizations, and the private sector. Her expertise encompasses strategic planning, communication, public advocacy, government relations, collaborative partnerships, and project management. She has been spearheading impactful awareness creation and capacity building programs in the spheres of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Innovation, and Sustainable Development.
In her role as Chief Strategy & Practice Development Officer at O&A, Kavita focuses on driving strategic initiatives and advancing the Firm’s practice development in the areas of IPR and Corporate Law, aligned with its vision and objectives. She is responsible for developing strategic partnerships and programmatic initiatives with diverse stakeholders, such as government agencies, industry bodies, institutions, industries, and startups, both domestically and internationally. Additionally, she leads the OA’s outreach and advocacy initiatives, with a focus on sharing knowledge and best practices.
